Hi Parents

Can I ask parents when you get the chance, to read the two articles attached 10 Commandments for Swim Parents and Do's and Don'ts for sports parents. They are intended to be used as a useful guide and to pass on the information presented in a positive and informative manner. Briefly the two articles are:

10 commandments for swimming parents - was from the USA swimming website. Some of the spelling and terminology gives this away but it is a very well written and useful piece nevertheless. For the record, 500 yards freestyle is an event that is widely swum at all levels in the States.

Do's and Don'ts for sports parents - is from a Gymnastics website but the principles are exactly the same for parents that have children in competitive sport. Another well written article which I hope all parents do take the benefits and positives from.
